eBook Lit was founded to provide for quality eBook distribution and proliferation. Many people see the eBooks of this generation as being as revolutionary to the spread of information, literacy, and civility as the printing press was centuries ago.

However, one must accept that with the coming of the printing press, the quality of median book content depreciated greatly as proliferated content was no longer simply available to the most hallowed of writings. So it is also with the eBook revolution. It is now possible for anyone with a computer and an Internet provider to publish anything. For this reason we as writers must be more careful to provide professional content. While we as readers must more and more rely upon reviews of others to discover what writings are worth reading.

eBook Lit's purpose is to

1) Provide to users eBooks we have personally reviewed for quality

2) Provide eBook authors with resources about how to publish eBooks that will be of the highest quality
